Only because I test out crazy stuff on myself all the time to see how my body reacts. So many a moon ago, I did an ayurvedic cleanse through my yoga studio. While the general purpose was to learn how to eat with the seasons and learn basic ayurvedic practices like dry brushing, a huge focus was on the role of stress in your life and how it impacts your physiological well being. Basically how your body physically responds to stress.

Fast forward many years, and here I am learning that there are these special herbs and plants with healing properties that can be used in ayurvedic practices but are predominantly known to help bring the body back into balance. The plants themselves do this instinctively because they live in harsh environments and therefore have to create their own homeostasis in order to survive.

So I started taking this adaptogen juice, fondly called "Mommy Juice" once a day just to see what would happen. I didn't notice a difference. I'm not lying, I felt virtually the same. But then I stopped taking the Mommy Juice and holy cow. It was like the rails came off the tracks and I began to think that maybe there is a little more to this adaptogen idea than what I initially thought.

This little ditty, as a result, is my afternoon pick me up. It gives me the adaptogens to combat the stress of the day as well as some extra greens, because that's always good for you, but overall it just gives me the little boost I need to get through my afternoon without consuming a sugary coffee drink (and then staying up until midnight because I'm wired).

Give it a shot. But not for just a day, try it for 30 days and see what happens. Because you won't know unless you try.

Serves: 1

One serving Isagenix Greens

One serving Ionix Supreme

Ice and water to taste

Combine all of your ingredients into a shaker bottle, shake until well combined and consume while still cold! Enjoy!
